rituals marks my first published art object since my self-published book b o r n in 2017.
Back then, I used to publish my photo and written diary online every day, and in the process of making the book, my approach to photography changed. I no longer wanted to produce by the day. I was craving a closer connection to the subjects I was photographing, and I had also started searching for privacy in the way I was used to sharing my work.
My love for photography, light, and nudity took on a new meaning. In this new experiment, I had fallen in love with hiding what I do, keeping it for myself, and simply watching it. But the idea of making something with it became inevitable.
I knew two things: I wanted to work in close connection with my printer in Berlin, who produces beautiful fine art prints, and I had also been craving a physical object with photos that I could collect and enjoy myself without the need to go to my computer or website.
That is how rituals was born—as a love letter to the magic of light, skin, nudity, and photography. These are all things I worship. I also became interested in hiding certain messages, meditating while photographing, and thinking about particular words as I had a naked body in front of me. This quest for beauty is here, and it’s collectible.

A limited-edition box with 22 fine art prints in A5 format (14.8 x 21 cm). This series explores grand concepts—from light overtaking entire frames to close-up details of sweat drops on the body, moonlit scenes, and goosebumps. Photographed in rural Europe and places of worship in Mexico, rituals delves into the idea of concealing messages, reflecting on specific words, and meditating during the act of photographing.
The work offers the possibility to be discreetly kept in the box or displayed as fine art prints. Each box is signed and numbered, and shipped or delivered by me personally.
